I’m Deidre, the founder & lead planner here at Cools Events.

My exposure to the world of events began many moons ago, in high school. Organizing fundraisers, school dances and Prom had shown me just how much I loved bringing people together, I knew this was something to hold on to. When entering the workforce in my early adult years, I've had the pleasure of touching events in the entertainment sector, organizing corporate events, non-profit events as well as life-cycle events - both independently and for various companies I worked for.

As I approached my mid-20's, my priorities shifted and I made a transition into the corporate world - keeping events on the side, only engaging in passion projects. A corporate lay-off in 2020 allowed me the opportunity to re-evaluate my life goals as I approached my 30's.. I realized I had lost touch with my true passion, I took a leap that lead to the opening of Cools Events with the sole purpose of bringing people together & helping them create core memories.

When I'm not coordinating an event, developing new ideas or putting together the perfect color palette, you'll probably find me trying the latest restaurant or wine bar, collecting vinyl records, obsessing over the latest reality TV show (let me live, ok?!), having one-woman concerts in my living room, scrolling TikTok informing myself on trending topics or surfing Pinterest to find inspiration for our next event.
My greatest pleasures have been getting to know tons of beautiful couples over the years & creating a wonderful community with lasting bonds.
